What is Plastic Data?

The increasing ability to capture and store data has resulted in enormous archives of information. Analysis, presentation, and comprehension of data can be enhanced by applying good design techniques to interactive interfaces. Plastic Data is my attempt to come up with a general term that describes interfaces built with the purpose of interacting with these large sets of data.
